The elite bilingual program is the premiere curriculum which perfectly balances teaching Chinese and English. The students have two homeroom teachers; a foreign teacher and a Chinese teacher. In this way the students are fully immersed in both languages from when they start school to until they finish.
Rooted in the Chinese culture, our Chinese language instruction program provides an introduction to the various aspects of the civilization. The Chinese curriculum is based on the Nanjing Normal University and Taiwan Hsin-Yih Publishing house joint-publication of the comprehensive early-childhood activities curriculum Chinese cultural immersion enhances children’s multicultural outlook. In addition to exercising the children’s abilities of listening and speaking, there are activities such as story telling, singing children’s songs opportunities to play with handcrafts, traditional Chinese toys, recitation of Chinese classics, and celebrating Chinese festivals.
The English curriculum is separated into three parts: IPC, Beeno and Letterland. IPC is a comprehensive curriculum with a clear process of learning and with specific learning goals for every subject, for personal learning and for international mindedness. The Beeno series is a complete three-year six-level series aimed at developing early English communication skills in very young learners. It is aimed to develop themes and topics of a "child's world" by using activities, games, and storytelling to facilitate learning. Letterland is a unique, phonics-based approach to teaching reading, writing and spelling to 3-8 year olds. The Letterland characters transform plain black letter shapes into child-friendly pictograms and they all live in an imaginary place called Letterland.
